MYQORZO side effects
MYQORZO can cause serious side effects, including heart failure, which is why your doctor will monitor how your heart is functioning.
Tell your healthcare provider or get medical help right away if you develop new or worsening:
- Shortness of breath
- Swelling in your legs
- Fatigue
- Chest pain
- Racing sensation in your heart (palpitations)
- Rapid weight gain
>> No participants in the clinical trial had to interrupt treatment or experienced worsening heart failure due to a drop in ejection fraction ⓘ.
The most common side effect of MYQORZO is high blood pressure (hypertension).
In the clinical trial, it was reported for 8% of participants taking MYQORZO and 2% on placebo.
Taking MYQORZO with other medicines
MYQORZO can be added to:
- Medicines you may be taking for obstructive HCM, including beta blockers (such as metoprolol), calcium channel blockers (such as verapamil and diltiazem), and disopyramide
- Medicines used for other conditions commonly seen in people with oHCM
In most cases, that may mean you can start MYQORZO with minimal need to adjust the dose or change other medicines you take. It’s important that you tell your healthcare team about any medicines you are taking.

Safety considerations
Before and during treatment with MYQORZO, tell your healthcare provider about:
All medicines you take, including over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and herbal supplements. Taking MYQORZO with certain medicines may increase your risk of heart failure. Do not change the dose or stop taking a medicine or start a new medicine without telling your healthcare provider.
All of your medical conditions, including if you are:
- Pregnant, plan to be, or become pregnant within 3 weeks of your last dose. It is not known if MYQORZO can harm your unborn baby
- Breastfeeding or plan to breastfeed. It is not known if MYQORZO passes into your breastmilk
